The following describes the terms and conditions on which Perfectly Practical Solutions will be happy to help you and will provide the basis for our working relationship.  All guidance is given in good faith, and it will always be the clients decision whether to accept advice and guidance.  We cannot accept any responsibility for actions and consequences arising from this.  Please be aware we are not qualified to give advice or valuation of any high market value item.  

Perfectly Practical Solutions will only  undertake work within our areas of our expertise, abilities and competence.  We are not qualified to provide any psychological therapy, counselling advice or support for hoarding disorders.  When appropriate we will invite our clients to seek other forms of professional help.

We do not accept any responsibility for the clients actions, or the consequence of their decisions.

Perfectly Practical Solutions provides a confidential, non judgemental service and we will not divulge any information to a third party without your prior approval.  All our conversations and disclosures made will remain confidential.  We will not divulge to another client that you are a client of Perfectly Practical Solutions unless you have given us prior permission.  Perfectly Practical Solutions will request for permission prior to our session(s) to take before and after photos or videos to show the work carried out, to use for marketing and promotional purposes,  Any such items will be annonymised and you will not be tagged on social media.

We understand it is not always possible but for added safety and minimising disruptions during our sessions, we would ask you to make your best attempt to try to ensure that any young children and/or pets are not present in the area in which we are working.

Perfectly Practical Solutions requires the client to agree to disclose, in advance, any information about themselves or the premises where the decluttering/organising session will take place that may impact on the health and safety of  the Perfectly Practical Solutions representative.  This includes Covid-19, infectious diseases, unhygienic areas, dirty conditions, evidence of hoarding disorder or infestations of any kind.  We would ask that you advise us of any other persons or animals who will be in your home for the session.    Perfectly Practical Solutions will reserve the right to wear PPE where it is deemed necessary and reserve the right to suspend or cancel any session in the event of a health and safety risk which is uncovered during the session.  

Perfectly Practical Solutions is happy to complete light cleaning which is involved in the decluttering and organising process, however we are not able to provide a full cleaning service.

Please be aware: Perfectly Practical Solutions will leave a note of your address with a 3rd party only to ensure personal safety.

Perfectly Practical Solutions require the client, whenever possible, to be present during all decluttering and organising sessions of a project.   

Every client and home is unique, and as such it is not always possible to give an accurate estimate of how long a project may take.  Participation with the declutter and organisation process, individual attention span, and ability to make decisions can all effect the project.  If the session is proving  to be a more complex situation than first anticipated and requires more sessions than the pre-planned period, we can discuss this on the day and together agree on what the preferred solution can be.  Decluttering and Organising can be physically and emotional demanding and with this in mind, Perfectly Practical Solutions will always work at a pace in which you are comfortable,

If you wish to remove items from your home, either for disposal or to other locations i.e.. Charity Shops/Recycling Centres etc. this must be at your own discretion.  Perfectly Practical Solutions is happy to make suggestions about reusing, donating, recycling and safe disposal of any items no longer wanted or needed by the Client after the decluttering process.  However, we will not be liable for any of these items and they cannot be retrieved once removed.
